The Logitech G522 Lightspeed is the successor to the G733, with a more comfortable build and a better microphone. It pairs over Logitech's Lightspeed dongle for low-latency gaming and over Bluetooth for phones, and the detachable mic records at 48kHz, a noticeable step up for Discord or casual streaming compared with typical headset mics. The PRO-G drivers can be tuned in G HUB, and the RGB lighting on the cups can be switched off to stretch battery life. Its review base is still small because it is a recent release, so long-term reliability is less proven than on older models such as the G733. Choose the G522 if you want Logitech software integration and a clearer mic in a light, all-day wireless headset. If you only need a basic wireless headset and do not use G HUB, the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed covers the essentials for less.
