Our Verdict
The AmazonBasics Single Monitor Arm is a gas-spring VESA arm that clamps to your desk and lets you move the monitor with one hand, with height, tilt, swivel and rotation adjustment. It has more than 11,400 Amazon ratings at 4.6 stars. Its design closely follows the Ergotron LX, which costs much more but has a 10-year warranty and a longer track record. Gas-spring arms need tuning to your monitor's weight, and very heavy or large ultrawide displays may exceed the rated capacity. Choose the AmazonBasics arm for smooth gas-spring adjustment at a lower price; for long-term durability and warranty, the Ergotron LX, and for two monitors, the HUANUO FlowLift.
