Our Verdict

The ASUS ROG Swift PG259QN is a 24.5-inch Full HD IPS esports monitor with a 360Hz refresh rate and NVIDIA G-SYNC, built for competitive players in games such as Counter-Strike 2, Valorant and Apex Legends who run frame rates above 240fps. It has about 330 Amazon ratings at 4.4 stars. The jump from 240Hz to 360Hz is real but smaller than the jump from 144Hz to 240Hz, so it pays off mainly for skilled players with a powerful CPU and graphics card that can sustain very high frame rates. Full HD keeps those frame rates achievable but looks less sharp for general use than 1440p. Choose the PG259QN for dedicated competitive esports play; for most gamers, a 240Hz 1080p monitor such as the Dell SE2426HG or a 1440p high-refresh monitor offers better value and versatility.
