Our Verdict

The GTPLAYER Linkage Armrests chair solves a specific problem: standard gaming chairs have armrests that stay fixed when you recline, leaving elbows unsupported at an angle. Linkage armrests sync with the backrest, maintaining elbow support at any recline setting up to 155 degrees. The retractable footrest adds a full rest position for breaks between sessions. At $109.17, it's the most expensive standard desk gaming chair in this group, $23.97 more than the GTPLAYER Pearl White. The premium buys only the linkage armrest mechanism. Buyers who game strictly upright and never recline gain nothing from this feature; the Pearl White or Yaheetech are the better choices for them. Buyers who recline while gaming and have been frustrated by fixed armrests will notice the difference immediately.
