That matters only when connecting fast external SSDs or NVMe enclosures that exceed 400 MB/s throughput; standard USB 3.0 hubs throttle these devices to their 5Gbps limit. At $55.99 for 9 ports, it costs $8.50 more than the SABRENT 10-port 60W ($47.49), which runs USB 3.0 at 5Gbps and has one additional port. For keyboards, mice, cameras, and standard external drives, 5Gbps is more than sufficient and the SABRENT wins on port count and cost. Choose the intpw only when a fast external SSD or NVMe enclosure rated above 400 MB/s is part of the regular workflow and full hub throughput is needed.
