The OLOy DDR4 16GB kit (2x8GB) runs at 2666MHz CL19 — a JEDEC-standard speed that any DDR4 board detects and runs at stock without XMP tuning. At $101.99 ($6.37/GB), the per-gigabyte cost is marginally lower than the G.SKILL RipjawsV DDR4 32GB ($209.89, $6.56/GB), but the RipjawsV delivers double the capacity and 534MHz more speed for $107.90 more. For most buyers, the $107.90 extra for 16GB more RAM and faster speed is the better investment. The OLOy 16GB is the correct pick when: the system has only two DIMM slots already filled at 8GB each and an upgrade to 16GB is the goal, or the budget hard-cap is below $105. This is a DDR4 kit — it does not fit any DDR5 system (AMD Ryzen 7000/9000 or Intel platforms configured for DDR5).
