Memory performance is identical to the standard Vengeance RGB: DDR5-6000 CL36 at 1.35V with Intel XMP and AMD EXPO profiles. At $454.99 versus $465 for the standard Vengeance RGB, the $10 price difference is negligible — the decision between them is software, not price. The RS variant is for ASUS, MSI, and Gigabyte board owners who want RGB controlled at BIOS level through their board's native lighting suite, with no third-party software dependency.
