Our Verdict

The Elgato Stream Deck Mini is the entry model of Elgato's stream controllers, with six customisable LCD keys that can switch OBS or Streamlabs scenes, mute your microphone, play sound clips, launch apps or run multi-step actions with one press. It has nearly 8,000 Amazon ratings at 4.7 stars. Elgato's software is easy to set up and has a large library of free plugins for streaming, editing and office apps. Six keys cover the essentials for a simple stream, though growing setups often outgrow it. Choose the Stream Deck Mini for a first stream controller or a compact shortcut pad for editing; if you want more keys from the start, the 15-key Stream Deck MK.2 offers more room to grow, and the Stream Deck + adds dials for audio control.
