Our Verdict
The HyperX Cloud III is a wired gaming headset with 53mm drivers, a durable aluminium frame and HyperX's famously comfortable memory-foam ear cushions, with nearly 13,000 Amazon ratings at 4.3 stars. It connects over USB-C, USB-A or a 3.5mm jack, so it works with PCs, consoles and phones, and the USB connection enables DTS Headphone:X spatial audio on PC. The detachable microphone has noise cancellation suited to voice chat and calls. It is the successor to the hugely popular Cloud II, keeping its comfort while improving sound and microphone quality. Choose the Cloud III as a comfortable, durable wired headset for long gaming sessions across several devices; if you want to go wireless, the Cloud III S Wireless keeps the same comfort.
