The Logitech G305 Lightspeed at $30 is the starting point for wireless gaming mice and the strongest value argument in the sub-$50 wireless segment. The HERO sensor, 250-hour AA battery life, and sub-1ms wireless latency via Logitech's 2.4GHz Lightspeed connection deliver performance that was an $80+ proposition five years ago. Against the Razer DeathAdder Essential at $25 (wired), the G305 costs $5 more but eliminates the cable — for FPS players who find cable drag affecting aim consistency, that $5 is well spent. The G305 is not the lightest wireless option at 99g; the Razer Basilisk V3 X HyperSpeed at $49 is lighter at 95g with a more ergonomic right-handed shape.
