Our Verdict

The MSI Codex Z2 is the most powerful gaming desktop in this category, with an AMD Ryzen 7 8700F processor, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB SSD. The RTX 5070 steps up from the RTX 5060 Ti for 1440p gaming at high frame rates with DLSS 4, and MSI lists the system as VR-ready. 32GB of memory matches the requirement of demanding games such as Modern Warfare 4's ray tracing tier, and the 2TB drive holds a large game library without an extra SSD. It runs Windows 11 Home and includes a keyboard and mouse. Its rating of 4.2 stars across a few hundred ratings is a little lower than the other gaming PCs here, so read recent reviews before buying. Choose it if you play at 1440p and want room for many large games. For 1080p gaming at a lower price, the CyberPowerPC Gamer Master covers most current titles.
