Our Verdict
At under $65, the Sceptre E225W is the most affordable 144Hz gaming monitor we carry by a wide margin — a genuine entry point into high-refresh gaming for anyone upgrading from a 60Hz panel. Built-in speakers mean it works as a complete plug-and-play setup, and Sceptre backs it with a 3-year warranty. The 22-inch 1080p panel won't match premium IPS color accuracy, but for competitive gaming on a tight budget, the frame-rate upgrade matters far more than panel quality.
