The Thermaltake Smart 600W is a budget power supply for basic desktops, office PCs and light gaming builds, at about $43. It steps up from the Smart 500W already in this lineup with 100W more headroom, enough for a mid-range CPU and an entry-level graphics card. With over 6,400 ratings at 4.5 stars it is a proven, reliable unit. It is 80+ White rather than Gold, so it wastes more power as heat, and its cables are fixed rather than modular, which makes tidy cable management harder. It also lacks the 12V-2x6 connector used by newer RTX 50-series cards. For a simple office machine or a system rebuild on a tight budget it is good value. For a new gaming PC, spend $12 more on the ASRock PRO 750G, which is Gold-rated and ready for current GPUs.
