WiFi 5 (802.11ac, AC1900) is a mature standard — fully functional for 4K streaming, online gaming, and video calls on 5–8 simultaneous devices. The practical ceiling below WiFi 6: no OFDMA scheduling, which means 2.4 GHz congestion increases more noticeably as device counts grow past 15.
