Which one should you buy?
Lenovo Legion 5 RTX 4060 2025
Choose the Lenovo Legion 5 RTX 4060 if you want maximum gaming value per dollar — RTX 4060 handles 1080p and 1440p gaming at high settings without paying premium laptop pricing.
Razer Blade 16 RTX 4090 OLED i9-14900HX
Choose the Razer Blade 16 RTX 4090 OLED if budget is secondary to performance and you want the most powerful consumer gaming laptop with a class-leading OLED display for creative work alongside gaming.
What the spec table doesn't show
The Razer Blade 16's OLED panel is a QHD+ 240Hz OLED — a display tier that doesn't exist in the Legion 5's price range. At 4K in Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, the RTX 4090 handles hardware-accelerated encoding 2.5–3× faster than the RTX 4060. For users who render video alongside gaming, the performance multiplier from the RTX 4090 on professional workloads makes the price gap more defensible than it appears for gaming alone.
Verdict
For gaming-first buyers who don't do professional creative work, the Lenovo Legion 5 RTX 4060 delivers 80% of the gaming experience at 35% of the cost. The Razer Blade 16 RTX 4090 OLED justifies its premium only if you also need a workstation-class GPU for video editing, 3D rendering, or AI work.
