Value Score Breakdown

Our Verdict

Acer's Predator GM7 is explicitly built and marketed as a PS5 storage expansion drive as well as a desktop NVMe SSD, hitting up to 7,400 MB/s read — comfortably clearing Sony's 5,500 MB/s minimum for PS5 expansion with margin to spare. Its low-profile design fits the PS5's M.2 bay without needing a separate aftermarket heatsink in most cases. With over 1,500 verified ratings at 4.8 stars, it's a trustworthy pick for console upgraders and PC builders alike.
