Our Verdict

Apple HomeView is Apple's first smart display: a 7-inch Liquid Retina screen on a domed speaker base that also works as an Apple Home hub. Apple lists face recognition that switches to each person's own Messages, Calendar and Reminders, FaceTime with Center Stage, the new Siri AI, a camera view that streams up to nine feeds at once, and alerts when it hears a smoke or carbon monoxide alarm. It controls Matter and Works with Apple Home accessories, so it is not limited to Apple's own devices. It ships on November 13, 2026, with no Amazon ratings or independent reviews yet, and Apple does not sell it in the European Union. Buy it if your household already uses iPhones and you want a shared screen in the kitchen or hallway for calls, cameras and smart home control. If you only need a hub for automations, a HomePod mini or Apple TV does that job without the screen.
