Our Verdict

The Blink Video Doorbell + Outdoor 4 Camera bundle is the right choice for buyers who want complete outdoor security coverage in a single purchase. The Blink Sync Module 2 included in the bundle enables local storage to a USB drive — meaning you can avoid Blink's subscription plan entirely if you have a USB stick. Each camera runs on AA batteries for up to two years, eliminating complex wiring. Trade-off: 1080p resolution and motion alerts are solid but not class-leading. For a first smart home security setup covering both doorbell and outdoor cameras at minimum ongoing cost, this bundle is difficult to beat.
