Against the Thermalright Assassin X120 Refined SE at $16, the Hyper 212 costs $10 more for better brand recognition and a larger user community for compatibility questions. Against the Peerless Assassin 120 SE at $35, it costs $9 less but gives up the second fan and two heat pipes.
