The RTX 5080 is NVIDIA's fastest card below the RTX 5090, built for 4K gaming and heavy ray tracing with 16GB of GDDR7 and DLSS 4 multi-frame generation. GIGABYTE's Gaming OC is the cheaper of the two 5080s we track and is sold by Amazon, with a 4.7-star rating from 193 buyers. Its triple-fan WINDFORCE cooler is large, so measure your case first. Reviews put the 5080 only modestly ahead of the RTX 4080 Super, so it is not worth upgrading from a 4080-class card. From an RTX 30-series card or a 1440p-class GPU, it is a major step up, and this version is the one I'd buy.
