Our Verdict

The GoorDik USB-C wireless lavalier microphone is a low-cost clip-on mic that connects wirelessly to a USB-C phone, tablet or laptop, improving voice quality for social media videos, vlogs and video calls over the device's built-in mic. It has more than 3,200 Amazon ratings at 4.2 stars. Clip-on mics stay a fixed distance from your mouth, which keeps voice levels steady as you move, and the receiver needs no app. Sound quality, wireless range and battery life are basic compared with systems such as the DJI Mic Mini or Hollyland Lark A1. Choose the GoorDik for occasional phone videos on a tight budget; for interviews with two speakers or better audio, the DJI Mic Mini or Hollyland Lark A1 are the step up.
