The Cloud III S is HyperX's wireless version of the Cloud III, and its standout feature is battery life. HyperX rates it at up to 120 hours over the 2.4GHz dongle and up to 200 hours on Bluetooth, which means charging it every week or two rather than every few days. It connects to PC, PS5 and Switch via the dongle, and Bluetooth lets you take a phone call without taking it off. The angled 53mm drivers keep the Cloud III's balanced tuning, and the build follows the familiar Cloud comfort formula of memory foam and a padded band. The trade-offs are the usual ones for wireless headsets at this level: the mic is fine for chat but no substitute for a desk microphone, and there is no active noise cancelling. It suits players who want a comfortable wireless headset they rarely need to charge. Wired-only players get similar sound for less with the Cloud II or Cloud III.
