The Noctua NH-D15S is the CPU air cooler of choice for high-TDP processors where PCIe card clearance is a concern. Its asymmetric dual-tower design shifts the heatsink away from the first PCIe slot, enabling full-length GPU installation even with large graphics cards — something the symmetrical NH-D15 doesn't always allow. With two 140mm NF-A15 fans, it competes with 240mm AIO liquid coolers in cooling capacity while operating significantly quieter at comparable fan speeds. Noctua's SecuFirm2+ mounting system supports every current Intel and AMD socket with straightforward installation. The 6-year warranty is class-leading among air coolers. The brown-and-beige aesthetic divides opinion, but for raw cooling performance and long-term reliability, the NH-D15S has no peer in the air cooler market.
