The SABRENT EC-PNVO is a no-frills 10Gbps enclosure for turning a spare M.2 NVMe drive into a fast portable SSD. It is tool-free, accepts every common size from 2230 to 2280, and its aluminium body works as a heatsink during long transfers. At USB 3.2 Gen 2 speed you can expect roughly 1,000 MB/s, several times faster than a portable hard drive. It is NVMe-only, so an older M.2 SATA drive will not be detected, and it ships with a USB-C to USB-C cable only, so older computers with just USB-A ports need a separate adapter or cable. Choose it for a modern laptop or desktop with USB-C. If you need USB-A compatibility out of the box, the UGREEN 10Gbps enclosure includes both cables.
