The SSK SHE-C325 Pro combines dual-protocol support with one of the biggest review bases in the category. It reads both NVMe and M.2 SATA drives, uses the widely used Realtek RTL9210B controller, supports UASP, TRIM and SMART monitoring, and runs at 10Gbps over USB-C. It includes USB-C and USB-A cables plus a heat pad, and the aluminium body helps with cooling. Drive support covers the 2242 to 2280 range, so the short 2230 drives found in the Steam Deck and some laptops will not fit. For anyone with a mix of old NVMe and SATA drives, it is the most proven dual-protocol option here and often costs less than the Sabrent EC-SNVE.
