The Samsung P9 Express is one of two microSD Express cards in this lineup — a new format built for devices that can actually use its bandwidth, chiefly the Nintendo Switch 2, plus a growing set of high-end cameras and phones adopting the standard. At up to 800MB/s read, it's roughly 3x faster than the Extreme PRO's UHS-I ceiling, but only devices with a microSD Express-compatible slot will see that speed; in a standard UHS-I reader it won't outperform a cheaper card. At $149.99 for 512GB it's $20 more than SanDisk's 512GB Express below for the same capacity tier, making it the second choice between the two unless you specifically prefer Samsung's ecosystem or firmware.
