This Sceptre is the budget entry into ultrawide gaming at about $199, and it is the first 21:9 monitor in this category. A 34-inch curved 3440x1440 panel gives you a much wider field of view in racing, flight and strategy games, and it doubles as a comfortable two-windows-side-by-side work screen. It runs at up to 165Hz over DisplayPort, with built-in speakers and 99% sRGB coverage. Expect some compromises for the price: build quality and stand adjustability are basic, and its 4.2-star average from over 3,000 ratings is the lowest among the monitors added here. It is a strong value if ultrawide is what you want on a tight budget. If you can spend around $140 more, the Alienware AW3425DWM offers a better stand, faster response and a higher rating.
