The TP-Link Archer AX73 is purpose-built for larger homes. Dual-band AX5400 with six antennas delivers coverage rated at 4,000+ sq ft — the widest range specification in this router batch. Twenty or more simultaneous devices is the stated capacity without performance degradation. WiFi 6 OFDMA scheduling handles dense device environments (smart TVs, phones, laptops, gaming consoles all active simultaneously) better than any WiFi 5 predecessor. At $119.99, it costs $45 more than the AX55 ($74.99) and $20.99 more than the AXE75 ($99). For a two- or three-story home, a home with concrete or brick walls, or any layout where a single router needs to cover 2,500+ sq ft, the AX73 is the correct pick in this batch. Buyers in a smaller space who already have acceptable coverage should consider whether the range upgrade justifies $45 over the AX55. The AX73 does not add the 6GHz band that the AXE75 provides at $20.99 less.
