Value Score Breakdown

Our Verdict

The VSDINSIDE 18-Key Macro Keypad is a budget stream controller and shortcut pad with 18 programmable keys for scene switching, hotkeys and workflow automation, without buying into Elgato's ecosystem. It has nearly 800 Amazon ratings at 4.4 stars. More keys than the Stream Deck Mini give room for more actions, though its software, plugin support and key displays are simpler than Elgato's, and integration with streaming apps relies mostly on keyboard shortcuts. VSDINSIDE is a smaller brand with simpler support. Choose the VSDINSIDE keypad for an affordable macro pad for streaming or productivity shortcuts; for deeper integration with OBS, Twitch and editing apps, the Elgato Stream Deck MK.2 is the more capable choice.
