Our Verdict

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 RTX 5070 Ti is the top of three ROG Strix G16 variants in this category at $2,539. The RTX 5070 Ti carries 5,888 CUDA cores versus 3,328 in the RTX 5060 variant — a 77% shader count increase that translates to measurable gains in 1440p gaming, GPU-accelerated rendering, and AI-assisted workflows. The Core Ultra 9 275HX handles multi-threaded tasks that the i5 and i7 CPUs in the lower-tier ROG Strix variants cannot. At $2,539 it costs $539 more than the Acer Nitro 16S AI Copilot+ RTX 5070 Ti ($1,999.99), which includes 2TB storage versus 1TB here and a Ryzen AI 9 365 with Copilot+ Windows features. The ROG Strix premium buys a better-calibrated display, premium build, and Intel x86 CPU for full software compatibility. For pure value at the RTX 5070 Ti tier, the Acer Copilot+ saves $539 with more storage. Choose the ROG Strix for build quality and display; the Acer for storage capacity and price efficiency.
