Our Verdict
The HP Victus 15 with an RTX 3050 is a budget gaming laptop for first-time PC gamers, handling popular titles such as Fortnite, Minecraft and Valorant and older AAA games at 1080p on medium settings. The RTX 3050 laptop GPU is several generations old and has limited video memory, so new demanding games need low settings, and it lacks DLSS 3 frame generation. It has about 140 Amazon ratings at 4.3 stars and HP's 2-year warranty on this listing. HP's Victus line is plain but practical, with a decent keyboard. Choose the Victus 15 RTX 3050 only on a tight budget for esports and older games; if you can stretch, an RTX 5050 laptop such as the Acer Nitro V 15 or ASUS TUF F16 is far better for current games and will last longer.
