Our Verdict
The Dell S2725DS is a 27-inch QHD (2560x1440) IPS monitor with a 100Hz refresh rate, covering 99% of the sRGB colour range with good accuracy out of the box, which makes it suitable for office work, light photo editing and casual gaming. It has built-in speakers, connects over HDMI or DisplayPort, carries Dell's 3-year warranty and has more than 900 Amazon ratings at 4.6 stars. QHD at 27 inches gives crisp text and enough space for two documents side by side, a clear step up from Full HD monitors at this size. It has no USB-C, so laptops connect through HDMI or a dock. Choose the S2725DS as a sharp, well-rounded home-office monitor from a brand with strong support; if you want single-cable laptop charging, look for a USB-C model such as the LG 27UP850-W.
