The Dell 27 Plus S2725QS brings 4K resolution to a 27-inch IPS screen at a mid-range level, and adds a 120Hz refresh rate, which is still uncommon on 4K office monitors. The extra sharpness over 1080p and 1440p is obvious with text, spreadsheets and photo work, and 120Hz keeps scrolling and cursor movement smooth. Dell rates it at 350 nits, 1,500:1 contrast and 99% sRGB, with an anti-glare finish and FreeSync Premium. The stand adjusts for height, swivel and pivot, and it has HDMI, DisplayPort and USB-C inputs. Note that 4K at 27 inches usually needs 150% scaling on Windows, and gaming at 4K 120Hz needs a capable graphics card. It suits anyone who spends the day reading and editing on screen and wants a clear step up from 1080p without paying for a professional colour monitor.
