The LG 27U411A is a straightforward 27-inch Full HD IPS monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate, which is a real improvement over 60Hz for scrolling and everyday responsiveness. LG adds Reader Mode, which cuts blue light, and Flicker Safe backlighting for long sessions, and the slim stand base takes up little desk space. HDR10 support is listed, but at this brightness level HDR content will not look dramatically different from SDR, so treat it as a compatibility feature rather than a reason to buy. As with any 27-inch 1080p screen, text is less crisp than on a 24-inch panel or a 1440p model. The stand only tilts and the input selection is basic. It makes sense as a large, easy-on-the-eyes screen for general home use, video and light work. If you want more refresh rate headroom at a similar size, Dell's SE2726H runs at 144Hz.
