Value Score Breakdown

Our Verdict

The 15-inch Surface Laptop pairs a larger 120Hz touchscreen with the 12-core Snapdragon X Elite, 16GB of memory and a 1TB SSD. The bigger screen gives real room for two documents side by side, and Microsoft rates it at up to 22 hours of battery life, the longest in the Surface Laptop range, helped by the larger body. With 356 Amazon ratings it has the deepest buyer history of the Surface models we track, at 4.3 stars. It runs Windows 11 on Arm, so check older software and games with anti-cheat before buying. It is sold by a third-party seller at this price, so check the seller and return policy. Choose it as the Windows alternative to the 15-inch MacBook Air if you want a touchscreen and a bigger display for office work; choose the 13.8-inch model if you carry your laptop every day.
