The Seagate IronWolf Pro 24TB is the largest NAS drive we list, built for multi-bay systems that run around the clock. It is a 7,200 RPM CMR drive with a 512MB cache, rated by Seagate for NAS enclosures of up to 24 bays, and it carries a 5-year warranty plus Seagate's Rescue data recovery service. High capacity per bay is the reason to buy it: fewer drives for the same storage means lower power use and room to grow in a small NAS. The trade-offs are noise and heat compared with 5,400 RPM drives, and price: Amazon itself has been out of stock for months, so third-party sellers set the price, and it often sits well above its usual level. Choose it for a home or small-office NAS where capacity matters most, ideally bought when the price returns to normal.
