The TP-Link Archer AXE75 adds a 6GHz band that no previous WiFi standard supports. Tri-band AXE5400 splits to 574 Mbps on 2.4GHz, 4,804 Mbps on 5GHz, and a dedicated 6GHz channel that delivers the highest speeds and lowest congestion when client devices can use it. The critical caveat: as of 2026, WiFi 6E client devices are still limited to newer flagship smartphones, select laptops, and gaming consoles released from 2022 onward. If household devices are predominantly WiFi 6 or older, the 6GHz band goes entirely unused. At $99, the AXE75 costs $24.01 more than the AX55 ($74.99) and $20.99 less than the AX73 ($119.99). For households with mostly WiFi 6 devices and no 6E clients, the dual-band AX73 at $20.99 more is the better buy — stronger range, proven performance. For households with two or more WiFi 6E capable devices, the AXE75 provides a genuinely useful uncongested 6GHz lane.
