The BrosTrend eight-port 2.5G switch is a lower-cost alternative to TP-Link's TL-SG108S-M2. It offers eight 2.5Gbps ports, runs fanless and silent, and can sit on a desk or mount on a wall, with lifetime protection from BrosTrend. It is plug and play, and gigabit devices connect normally at 1Gbps. Its rating is a little lower than the TP-Link's, but it has a larger review base. It is a good fit for gamers and home users upgrading to a multi-gig internet plan, or connecting a 2.5G NAS, who want eight ports without paying a big-brand premium. Check that your key devices have 2.5G ports; otherwise a gigabit switch does the same job for less.
