The NICGIGA six-port switch is the only 10G option here: two 10Gbps RJ45 ports plus four 2.5Gbps ports, unmanaged and plug and play. The layout suits a home lab or creator setup where a NAS and a workstation connect at 10G, while other devices, WiFi access points and the router use the 2.5G ports. Gigabit devices still work at 1Gbps. It has the highest total bandwidth in the category, which is why its value score is strong. The catch is that 10G only helps with 10G network cards and a NAS that can sustain those speeds, and its review base is smaller than the big brands. If you are not already planning 10G hardware, a 2.5G switch is the better buy.
