Which one should you buy?
ASUS TUF GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB OC
Choose the RTX 4060 Ti if you're on a strict budget and game primarily at 1080p — it handles every current title at high settings with DLSS 3.
MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB
Choose the RTX 4070 Ti Super if you game at 1440p or 4K and want a card that will remain relevant for the next 3–4 years. The 16GB VRAM is already delivering advantages in 2026 titles.
What the spec table doesn't show
The 8GB VRAM on the RTX 4060 Ti is becoming a real limitation in 2026. Several AAA titles — including Alan Wake 2, Hogwarts Legacy at ultra settings, and some modded Bethesda games — are showing VRAM stuttering at 1440p on 8GB cards. The RTX 4070 Ti Super's 16GB VRAM eliminates this issue entirely. This isn't a theoretical concern; it's showing up in benchmark comparisons today.
Verdict
The RTX 4070 Ti Super is in a fundamentally different performance and future-proofing tier. If you can stretch the budget, it's the right call — the 4060 Ti's 8GB VRAM ceiling is becoming a genuine problem at 1440p in late 2026.
